PHOTOGRAPHY:
Our photographers are a cute couple joining forces for awesome photography–Sam Chua Sam Photography and Cara Grimshaw. Cara did our engagement photos already and they turned out amazing.

OFFICIANT: My Uncle Everett :)

WEDDING PLANNER: BreeAnn Gale of Pink Blossom Events. She also has a blog on her website with helpful information, resources, and events.

FLORIST: Tiffany Cole of Flowers By Tiffany. She has been recognized in the Best of Western Washington and she’s affordable. Not only can I afford her but she’s very knowledgeable, creative and a total kick in the pants to talk to. I like her!

CAKE: Noms are important. For the cake, I went with Kelli of Kelli’s Creations. We met with her and tasted her cakes and were sold quickly. What did we choose? It’s a secret! Oh yeah, she’s also in the top 5 Best of Western Washington.

CATERER: The professionalism and workability of The Cabbage Patch Restaurant and Catering drew my attention. She is open to budgets and ideas. Oh, and the food was very delicious at the tasting. The owner made me feel very important and it sold me. I did go over budget and am doing a buffet but there wasn’t a lot of room for spending on plating. The food at Cabbage Patch is so good, however, I’m happy to compromise.

THE DRESS!: A gal in Nordstroms, my wedding coordinator, and Yelp all said to check out From the Gown Up for my dress. So I did. I’m very anti cheap-corporate-wedding-dress-store when it comes to buying a wedding dress. At the same time, I didn’t have five-thousand dollars to spend. At From the Gown Up, you’re rarely find a dress over $2000 and she has plenty of dresses that can come in plus-size.
